Through Harlow and Nova, Charlie showed me that caring for a horse isn’t one grand gesture. It’s the small things, done properly and consistently, every day. Charlie taught me how to ride, but also everything that happens beyond the saddle.

Then Charlie left for a trip to Europe, and their care became my responsibility. It surprised me was how much time and attention the feeding routine demanded, every single day.

When Charlie returned, we began asking whether part of that routine could be simpler without compromising the care behind it.
